About Doyang Reservoir

Doyang Reservoir is one of the world’s greatest migratory bird spectacles. Every October and November, millions of Amur falcons descend on the reservoir from Siberia, resting before their 22,000 km non-stop flight across the Arabian Sea to southern Africa. Once hunted, the falcons are now fiercely protected by local Naga communities who have become their guardians.
