About Navagraha Temple
Navagraha Temple on Chitrachal Hill is Guwahati’s nine-planet temple, one of the few in India dedicated entirely to the nine celestial bodies of Hindu astronomy. The hilltop setting gives panoramic views across Guwahati, and the temple is an important stop for pilgrims visiting the city’s sacred Shakti circuit. Entry is free and the temple opens at 4 AM for early morning prayers.
