About Kamalasagar Kali Temple

Kamalasagar Kali Temple stands on the edge of a lake that marks the India-Bangladesh border, making it a uniquely positioned religious site where both Indian and Bangladeshi devotees once gathered on the same water. The 15th-century temple is dedicated to Kali and is one of Tripura’s most atmospheric religious sites, especially at dawn when mist rises from the lake and the reflections of the temple and surrounding hills merge in the still water.
