About Jampui Hill

Jampui Hill is Tripura’s most scenic hill range in the north of the state, at altitudes between 1,000 and 1,500 metres, where the Reang tribe grows oranges across terrace after terrace of well-tended groves. The Orange Festival in November-December is when the hills glow with ripe fruit and the weather is clear enough for views across into Bangladesh and Mizoram. The hill remains one of Tripura’s best-kept secrets outside the state.
