About Orang National Park

Orang National Park is often called the ‘Mini Kaziranga’ of Assam — a 79 sq km tiger reserve on the north bank of the Brahmaputra that shelters one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, and pygmy hogs in a compact area. Less visited than Kaziranga but equally rich in wildlife, Orang offers jeep safaris through tall elephant grass along the riverside with a fraction of Kaziranga’s crowds.
