About Tsomgo Lake
Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) sits at 12,400 feet — a glacial lake that freezes in winter and blooms with wildflowers in spring. Yaks carry visitors around the shore, and a small temple dedicated to Goddess Tara overlooks the water. The lake is an easy day trip from Gangtok and often combined with Baba Mandir further up the road.
