About Shnongpdeng
Shnongpdeng is the adventure base on the crystal-clear Umngot River — a village where travellers camp on the riverbank, kayak through transparent water, cliff jump into deep blue pools, and snorkel over a visible riverbed. The river is at its clearest from October to March when you can see every pebble from your boat.
