About Nuranang Falls

Nuranang Falls (also called Jang Falls) is a breathtaking 100-metre waterfall on the road between Bomdila and Tawang — the water crashes down a sheer cliff face into a turquoise pool below, framed by rhododendron forests. Named after a local girl from the 1962 war, it is one of the most dramatic stops on the Tawang highway.
