About Doyang Reservoir

Doyang Reservoir is one of the world’s greatest migratory bird spectacles — every October and November, millions of Amur falcons descend on the reservoir from Siberia, resting before their 22,000 km non-stop flight across the Arabian Sea to southern Africa. Once hunted, the falcons are now fiercely protected by local Naga communities who have become their guardians.
